Firmy analityczne podsumowały już globalny rynek smartfonów w II kw. 2021 r. Według firmy Omdia, rynek urósł o 6.9% i sprzedaż smartfonów wzrosła do poziomu 299.1 mln sztuk z 279.7 mln sztuk rok wcześniej.
W całej pierwszej połowie roku wzrost wyniósł 17.4% - w sztukach to 651.8 mln (w porównaniu do 555.5 mln rok wcześniej).
